The city could easily cash in on something intangible by allowing personal and commercial bidding on the naming of certain numbered streets, for a certain distance, for a certain period of time.

I know I'm dreaming here, but I'm wondering if it wouldn't be possible to retro-fit the old emergency rad-o-light's around town once emergency services move to GPS connected computer controlled switching.

A spur of I-90 would greatly help the city. The bayfront connector is already built as a semi-limited access highway as PA 290. Add a few on and off ramps, and a few overpasses, and hey, you have a limited access highway. Only 2 or 3 streets intersect with it anyway. This could reduce travel time ( (READ MORE) »
